Fee Types
TackOn supports three fee calculation methods.
Fixed Fees
Same amount regardless of cart total.
Best for: Gift wrapping, handling fees, rush processing
Example:
- Fee: $5.00
- Cart $50 → Fee $5.00
- Cart $500 → Fee $5.00
Percentage Fees
Calculated from cart subtotal.
Best for: Payment surcharges, insurance, commission fees
Example:
- Fee: 2.5%
- Cart $100 → Fee $2.50
- Cart $200 → Fee $5.00
Combined Fees
Fixed amount plus percentage.
Best for: Credit card fees ($0.30 + 2.9%), complex structures
Example:
- Fee: $0.30 + 2.9%
- Cart $10 → $0.30 + $0.29 = $0.59
- Cart $100 → $0.30 + $2.90 = $3.20

Date Scheduling
Any fee type can be restricted to specific dates, months, or days of the week. For example, a "Holiday Gift Wrap" fixed fee that only appears in December.
