Installing TackOn

Requirements

• Active Shopify store
• Permission to install apps
• Online Store 2.0 theme

Install Steps

1. Visit TackOn on Shopify App Store
2. Click Add app
3. Review permissions and click Install
4. You'll be redirected to the TackOn dashboard

Enable the Theme App Embed

TackOn is a theme app embed, not a block. It targets body, so it loads on every page and finds your cart elements automatically. There is nothing to place on the cart page.

1. Go to Online Store → Themes
2. Click Edit theme on your live theme
3. In the left icon rail, open the App embeds panel (the puzzle-piece icon)
4. Find TackOn Cart Widget and switch its toggle on
5. Click Save. Nothing takes effect until you do

Back in the app, Home → Extension status should now read Enabled.

TackOn does not appear in the Add block picker. If you're looking for a block to add to the cart page, that's why you can't find one. Use App embeds instead.

Troubleshooting

Widget not showing?

• Confirm the TackOn Cart Widget app embed is toggled on and saved
• Make sure you enabled it on the live theme, not a draft
• Check Home → Extension status reads Enabled
• Confirm theme is Online Store 2.0

Installation failed?

• Clear browser cache
• Check you have install permissions
• Contact support
